SHARE Project consists of four (4) individual Work Packages. More specifically:

The first Work Package (WP1) includes all actions related to the management and coordination of the Program and is being implemented by the General Secretariat for Family Policy and Gender Equality.

WP2 includes the exchange of knowledge through a Workshop of Good Practices and the identification of good practices and procedures regarding the awarding of the Gender Equality Sign in the international context, prepared by KETHI. Then, the development of an applicable methodological framework is planned for the evaluation and awarding of the Gender Equality Label to companies that promote work-life balance, focusing on the equal sharing of care responsibilities between men and women. The development of this methodology will be achieved through 3 Consultation Workshops, organized by GSFPGE with the following interested parties:

  • 1st Laboratory: Ministry of Labor, Ombudsman, social partners
  • 2nd Laboratory: Certification companies, academics and civil society
  • 3rd Workshop: all the above participants

WP3 (implemented under the scientific supervision of KETHI but with active contribution from Women on Top (WoT), launches the labeling procedure and includes all necessary tasks (development of training material, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation) for the promotion of work-life balance and friendly working environments in companies. Firstly, an Announcement will be published including all necessary information about the steps that the companies have to fulfill in order to receive the Project’s Label on work-life balance (WoT). For the development of training material and the implementation of seminars for company actors the methodology of gender training will be applied. According to EIGE, the main aims of this methodology are making the actors more gender equality aware, building their gender competence and enabling them to promote gender equality goals in their work at all levels. In this context all the necessary methodological steps (ensuring commitment and standards, addressing needs, selecting approach, measuring impact and evaluation) will be followed to effect participants’ transformation towards gender equality. The focus of the training will be on empowering learning and building the capacity of participants to apply tools and concepts to their working environments. The seminars will be participatory and interactive to maximize dialogue, learning and sharing of experiences and best practices. KETHI will undertake the development of an innovative and targeted material. During the monitoring phase of companies’ initiatives implementation, the methodology developed in WP2 will be followed, taking additionally into account tools related to the methodological approach of gender mainstreaming. The already established network of companies and the experience of WoT in capacity building activities for company actors will ensure the achievement of WP tasks. More specifically, the WP tasks (activities) are: a. Launch of the labeling procedure, b. Development of gender training material for company actors, c. Capacity building seminars and activities for company actors, d. Pilot implementation, monitoring and evaluation of companies’ initiatives.

WP4 (implemented under the responsibility of GSFPGE) aims at raising awareness, challenging behavioral patterns and highlighting the importance of shared care responsibilities. In order to achieve visibility of the Project the WP includes: creation of website and visual design logo, creation and broadcasting of TV spot, publishing of Press Releases, publication of leaflets and the organization of a final Conference that will communicate the outcomes of the Project to all stakeholders and interested actors. The development of WPs tasks will be organized based on a detailed Communication Plan (task 1.3) in order to support the communication of all activities and to ensure that dissemination tasks are implemented in the most effective way. Project’s website will be the main communication channel, developed in a friendly user way and its content will be regularly updated by GSFPGE and WoT, to attract more visitors and promote knowledge on Project’s thematic field. More specifically, the WP tasks (activities) are: a. Creation of the project’s website and visual logo, b. Dissemination and engagement of stakeholders, potential supporters and multipliers, c. Organization and implementation of a Final event (Conference).

KETHI is going to essentially contribute to the content of the produced leaflets and to the organization of the final Conference by offering expertise on the agenda drafting and the choice of speakers
